Designing for Resilience: Water, Biodiversity and the Future of Attractions
As climate change brings greater pressure on water, biodiversity and natural resources, attractions are increasingly having to rethink how their sites are designed, managed and experienced.
This panel explores how attractions can move beyond sustainability targets to create more resilient, nature-positive places — from managing water and flooding to restoring habitats, supporting biodiversity and integrating nature into the visitor experience.
Chaired by Marie Rayner, Director of Project Development and Sustainability Lead at Storyland Studios, the discussion will bring together perspectives from attractions taking different approaches to environmental resilience, exploring what is working in practice, where the challenges remain and how the sector can design for a future where people, places and nature can thrive together.
