Alex Hylands-White
Alex is a founder of COGS Show Control, the London-based company originally founded as Clockwork Dog, and a creative with a background directing film and running a production company. The story began in 2015 when software developer Tom Dixon asked Alex to help him build an escape room. That first game sold out, and for their more ambitious follow-up, a time-travel room called Loop, they brought in theatre director Eyal Danon. Together the three built the custom software and hardware system that grew into COGS, a show control platform for interactive live experiences. Having started out powering escape rooms, haunted houses and immersive theatre, COGS is now used across location-based entertainment and attractions, including The Traitors Live Experience, Karls theme parks & Netflix House. Alex also hosts the Inventures podcast where he asks industry creatives about their ultimate fantasy projects.
