Anna Warnecke is CEO of Kynren in County Durham, home to two major live-action visitor experiences. Kynren – An Epic Tale of England, first staged in 2016, is a spectacular outdoor night show brought to life by a cast and crew of 1,000 volunteers. In July 2026, Kynren opened the first phase of The Storied Lands, a new daytime park featuring five live-action shows where visitors can walk among Vikings, watch magnificent birds take flight, witness incredible equestrian stunts and see stories from history and legend unfold around them.

Anna joined Kynren in 2015 as Head of Cavalry and Estates and has played a central role in its development from the outset. Originally trained as a medical doctor and a former international event rider, she now leads the charity behind Kynren, overseeing its creative, operational and commercial development as it enters an ambitious new phase of growth.
