Farm Community Network

The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a voluntary organisation and charity that supports farmers and families within the farming community through difficult times.

They have a network of over 400 volunteers across England and Wales, many of whom are involved in farming, or have close links with agriculture, and therefore have a great understanding of the issues that farmers, farm workers and farming families regularly face. Their volunteers provide free, confidential, pastoral and practical support to anyone who seeks help, regardless of whether the issue is personal or business-related.

Fare Share

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. Together, we take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to nearly 8,500 frontline charities and community groups.

"The food we redistribute is nutritious and good to eat. It reaches charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week we provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people."

National Farm Attraction Network

Uniting the Farm Attraction Industry, the National Farm Attraction Network (NFAN) has over 200 Farm Members and is the only independent co-operative for farm and rural attractions.

In 2012,  NFAN assisted the HSE in creating the Industry Code of Practice, which provides guidelines on how visitors to farm and rural attractions should interact with animals.

NFAN now helps Members interpret the guidelines with workshops and one-on-one Member discussions. NFAN has also produced a helpful video demonstrating best practice.

Farm Retail Association Logo

The Farm Retail Association (FRA) began its life as the the Farm Shop and PYO Association (FSPA) on October 11, 1979 at the Farmpick Conference in Birmingham. Realising that the farm retail industry had no supporting body, a group of like minded farmers took the reigns and began their own.

Whatever area of farm retail you are from, we are here to help you and your business. We are Stronger Together.
